Samsung confirms to sell refurbished Note 7


After getting back from the massive recall of Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Samsung Electronics company is looking forward to bring back its business in the form of selling refurbished Note 7s. Rumours counted that refurbished Note 7s are expected to sold by June.

From the latest reports of Reuters, “Regarding the Galaxy Note 7 devices as refurbished phones or rental phones, applicability is dependent upon consultations with regulatory authorities and carriers as well as due consideration of local demand.”

What it mean is! Release date and the marketplace are left to the company, The company sold 3.06 million units before the global recall. Research confirms that There were no other problems in the Note 7 devices except the batteries. It was around $5.5 billion profit hit over three-quarters from the Note 7 issues.

Greenpeace wrote in a blog post. “Greenpeace will make sure Samsung takes into account the voice of millions of our supporters and abides by its commitment.”

The firm is looking to recover the components like chips and other modules dealing with rare metals from Note 7 devices which don’t have rights to sell as refurbished product.

It is left unanswered, We have to wait and see how the firm will sell its refurbished Note 7 devices. But Samsung company is doing something great in recovering its business on Note 7 besides leaving it aside. As the phone is not on the market for a long time besides millions of products were sold and returned.

This Korean based company is not going to sell its refurbished units in the United States, It will be processed until all the units met with consultations of regulatory authorities and carriers. Already company failed in bringing negotiations and the reason why the company is not going to sell it in the US.

Samsung company told to The Verge, Company will be releasing Galaxy Note 7 Specifications, Name and Price soon. Also, they confirmed about the phone is not going to sold or rented in the US.

“The objective of introducing refurbished devices is solely to reduce and minimize any environmental impact. The product details including the name, technical specification and price range will be announced when the device is available. Samsung will not be offering refurbished Galaxy Note 7 devices for rent or sale in the US.”

Samsung electronics company is moving ahead to launch Galaxy S8 which is another device with larger display.
