Design, Display And Build

For the price, the build quality is good and also comfortable to hold and the smartphone is light weight due to plastic built.

The display quality looks promising with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels, viewing angles are also good, display propounds good brightness levels.

Performance

The device is powered by Spreadtrum quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz that is not that powerful.Redmi 4A that is priced at Rs 5,999 comes with snapdragon 425 that is much powerful than this smartphone.

You get only 3 sensors – accelerometer, proximity, and light. The gyroscope sensor is not present that means you will not able to use VR Headset. It lacks a magnetometer sensor too that helps in proper navigation.

VOLTE is supported and it also offers video calling support.

Approx 1.4 GB Ram is free out of 1.9 GB total.

Features and Software

The smartphone is running on marshamallow and it should be fine for day to day usage coupled with 2 GB Ram.

There are also smart features like smart awake, active shot, assistant.Adaptive brightness is present that adapts itself according to different lighting situations.

You also get a font size change option.you can choose from small, normal and large.

OTG is not supported, this means you cannot connect external peripherals like USB light, OTG Pendrive etc.

On the back, there is an 8 MP primary camera with single LED flash and on the front, we get a 5 MP camera with Dual LED Flash.

On the top of the camera interface, there are HDR, Flash, Timer, Camera switch options.

Swiping left there are a bunch of features like Audio, Pro, Burst, panorama etc.

The Primary camera is capable of recording Full HD videos, the overall video quality is decent for the quoted price and the focusing is accurate and fast.

The camera quality is above average.

Gaming, Battery life, Multimedia

Battery life is decent, you can get 4-7 hours of moderate to heavy usage and will give us 24 hrs of mixed usage easily.

It took me approx 3 hours to charge my 2500 mah battery.

The gaming performance is not smooth at all, you can get good gaming experience with low-end games like subway surfer, temple run etc. but you should not expect good gaming experience from this budget category.

These smartphones target to an audience who just want to use it as for normal use only.

talking about the Sound output, it is really loud and decent and will not disappoint you in normal audio listening experience.

Conclusion

Xolo Era 1X Pro sets an audience for normal usage users. In this smartphone, you get an above average cameras, good sound output, bright and punchy display and an earphone too in the package 😁.

The device is using a spreadtrum processor that is a weak hardware and may be with slightly heavy usage it starts to lag.

Around the same price, Redmi 4A is a competitor here, with a metal body and looks more premium than Xolo Era 1x Pro.

Xolo Era 1x pro is an enhanced version of Xolo Era 1x is better than the previous version.

For Rs 5,777 we cannot complain much because for the price there is nothing wrong with it except its processor, for an individual who just wants his first Android smartphone can go with it.

Xolo Era 1x is an above average phone with good build quality, decent display, and great battery life.
