The all new Bluboo Picasso hits the budget smartphone market this month, and it’s already available for buying. When it comes to phones that are affordable, it is predictable that Bluboo Picasso will be the top entry level handset, cheap enough for everyone’s pocket



The design is one of the primary features when it comes to affordable smartphone models. The new Bluboo Picasso’s design is quite impressive, and the model is beautiful to the eye. The back side is made completely of plastic, and it fits perfectly in the hand. Since this is a 5-inch model, handling needs to be at its top, and the ergonomics of the phone needs to provide a good grasp. On the back, The Picasso has 3D ARC diamond texture which makes the overall design amazing

The display packs a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720. The screen is made of sapphire crystal glass. The colours are quite vivid and natural. There is no physical button on the front which makes the display and design simple. The bezel is very narrow at 3mm.


For performance, the phone packs a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6580A processor and has 2GB of RAM. Internal storage of the phone is 16GB and if you feel that it is not enough, well, it is expandable. Overall the performance is smooth and 2GB of ram ensures that multitasking is smooth.


The rear camera is of 8MP with dual LED flash for the best pictures in dark. The front camera is also of 8MP. The camera quality is pretty impressive considering the price of this phone. Daylight photos are quite natural with little to no noise in the photos taken.

Bluboo Picasso runs on android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box which is quite mainstream nowadays. The battery is non removable and with 2500 mAh, this phone is average in terms of battery.
