Motorola has given amazing new year’s treat to its Moto G 3rd gen users in India as Android Marshmallow update. Motorola started rolling out the upgrade for the phone in the USA and Canada a week ago, and now it has arrived for India.
It’s been three months since the launch of Android Marshmallow and like always Google updated its own devices before the others. Needless to say that Google Nexus devices were the first one to receive the update.
Other Motorola devices such as Moto G (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto X, and Moto E are also going to receive the update gradually.
The third-generation phone of the Moto G series will now be upgraded from Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) to Android 6.0(Marshmallow). So if you haven’t updated your Moto G 3rd Gen to Android 6.0 Marshmallow then update your device now. The update is released via Over-The-Air(OTA) update.
